I’m **SELLING** My 2020 C8 CORVETTE!!! Here’s Why…..

Check out this Video by MidwestRide on YouTube where he discusses selling his C8 Corvette. Although we discussed other YouTubers selling their C8 Corvettes for other reasons (Profit, and Content) he has some different reasons.

We covered his C8 Corvette for being one of the first to blow the engine and GM and his local Chevy Dealership Friendly Chevrolet took care of it.

Here’s why he is selling his C8 Corvette

  1. Because he lives in Minnesota and it snows…
  2. Because he doesn’t have the money to have multiple cars like other famous YouTubers

Attack Blue Air Filter for C8 Corvette Gains 12 HP! (VIDEO)

Check out this video from Horsepower Obsessed showing the difference in horsepower gained from the Attack Blue Air Filter upgrade on the C8 Corvette. This Attack Blue Air Filet was designed and created by TKO performance that has a history of creating this high performance long lasting air filters even for the C7 Corvettes.

Per the Dyno it gained 12 Horsepower on top of being made in the USA and not having to pay a little less from a Chevy Dealership to use a paper crappy air filter.

Some other mods like Sport Cats or Headers which are in 1000s maybe increased horsepower by 20+ horsepower on the C8 Corvette.

So in this case the Attack Blue Air Filters for the C8 Corvette are definitely worth adding to any C8 Corvette and its easy to install yourself.

It’s a no brainer to get one of these Nanofiber Performance Attack Blue Air Filters.

2020 Chevrolet Corvette C8 Stingray Interior

Per DPCcars on YouTube:

Inside, the new Corvette Stingray has an all-new interior bisected with a massive tunnel separating driver and passenger. It’s driver-centric with a wrap-around feel and two large digital displays, one for the instrument cluster and the other for the infotainment screen. Curiously, a long row of buttons runs the length of the console, bucking the trend of moving all interior functions into the infotainment display.

MY NEW 2020 C8 CORVETTE INTERIOR OVERVIEW

Per RearWheelDrive on YouTube:

Hey guys! Come check out the NEW 2020 C8 Corvette Interior!

Corvette C8 Interior

Chevrolet has gone to great lengths to make the C8’s interior luxurious and truly special. From its button-strip to the steering wheel and everything in-between, the new Corvette boasts a cockpit that prioritized driver focus from start to finish.

That’s because the entire cabin was engineered to maximize your racing experiences. Plus, it comes equipped with a Performance Data Recorder so you can review your best lap times and set goals for improvement.

Seats in Corvette C8

Stepping inside the Corvette C8, you get an immediate sense of being in a luxurious sports car. All buttons, switchgear and shifter look premium while soft-touch materials such as carbon-fiber trim and aluminum accents adorn the cabin for added ambiance.

The seats on the C8 come in an array of colors and configurations. Standard GT1 bucket seats with perforated inserts for Mulan leather seating surfaces as well as two-tone GT2 bucket seats are both available.

There’s also the Competition Sport, a set of racing-inspired seats designed with aggressive bolsters, full Nappa leather seating surfaces and carbon-fiber trim on the headrest. These can be configured in various color combinations as well as heated or ventilated options.

Another option is the Suede Microfiber Wrapped Interior Package, which covers the A-pillars and headliner in suede microfiber. Additionally, it includes color-keyed seat stitching, top center markers on the steering wheel, seat side bolster accents and seat belts in Strike Yellow.

Finally, 2021 C8 buyers can select a combination of black and Sky Cool Gray for the center console and seat headrests. This contrast between light and dark elements gives the Corvette an eye-catching appearance that you won’t want to miss when viewing one in person.

When it comes to the Corvette C8, its value and performance cannot be beat. But you might just fall in love with taking home one of six interior themes – Jet Black, Sky Cool Gray, Adrenaline Red, Natural/Natural Dipped, Morello Red or Two-Tone Blue – when selecting colors for your new Chevrolet. With so many options available, you’re sure to find one perfect for you and your ride!

C8 Corvette Steering Wheel

At first, the Corvette’s steering wheel featured circular cutouts and a tri-spoke layout. However, with time came change: it became wider, volume buttons moved to a new location, and more pronounced spokes jutting off the center hub.

The Corvette’s dashboard featured several groundbreaking innovations, such as an electronic instrument cluster and touchscreen-enabled infotainment system. These innovations were both technologically superior and aesthetically pleasing.

One feature that initially caused controversy when unveiled was the long, sloping row of buttons separating the driver and passenger. This led some critics to suggest the design resembled a fighter jet cockpit designed for hands-on convenience rather than an ordinary sedan.

In 2014, the Corvette C7 made a dramatic change from its former image as an aggressive American sports car and adopted a more contemporary aesthetic. This transformation was evident in the interior of the C7 which featured more sophisticated materials and designs than ever before.

In addition to its standard features, the C7 also featured a customizable drive mode system that allowed drivers to customize things like engine exhaust sound, braking and suspension settings according to their preferences. The Z-Mode button located on the steering wheel combined all these customizable elements into one setting that could be toggled with just two thumbs.

At its introduction, a Driver Information Center located above the steering wheel proved popular with motorists. This Center Display displayed real-time vehicle data such as fuel level, temperature and more.

The center console featured a large toggle switch in the middle that enabled drivers to manage all driving modes on their dash. These included MyMode, Weather, Tour, Sport and Track – each with their own customizable settings.

The center console also featured a new digital speedometer that adjusted according to driving mode. It was designed for easy reading with an intuitive one-look screen display for data display.

Center Console in the C8 Corvette

The center console is an essential design feature of the Chevrolet C8 Corvette interior. It allows drivers to operate many features within their car, including power and climate controls. Additionally, it serves as a display for temperature and other information.

The C8’s center console was created by Faurecia, a Detroit design studio known for creating some of the world’s most iconic and high-performance cars. Together with General Motors designers, they worked to make sure that every inch of space inside is both functional and visually pleasing.

Instead of creating a traditional console, the design team opted for an unconventional arrangement of buttons that slantly divides space between drivers and passengers – what we’ll refer to as “Button Mountain.”

Button Mountain provides a clever solution to the issue of creating a low dashboard that provides excellent visibility while driving. Additionally, its center console serves as an effective physical barrier between drivers and passengers, which can be especially helpful when parking or making tight turns.

On the center console, there are numerous buttons for accessing various features like changing fan speed or setting the vehicle’s temperature. You can even interact with your infotainment system through this strip’s drive mode control knob which cycles through various engine, suspension and traction/stability modes.

Below the drive mode control knob are several useful hard buttons, including the first push-button shifter in a Corvette. Park is located at the top, followed by neutral and then drive; finally, pull switch for drive is located below it.

At the bottom of the center console, there are a series of buttons designed to activate Chevrolet’s Performance Traction Management system – an advanced traction and stability mode that lets drivers customize throttle and brake response.

The strip also features buttons for adjusting audio volume and a microphone and speaker for hands-free calling. The button on the left side of the center console serves as a mode selector, enabling you to switch between various driving modes for improved performance.

C8 Corvette Floor Mats

Floor mats for your Chevrolet C8 Corvette are an excellent way to protect the interior and keep it looking pristine. Plus, they add a nice touch to the vehicle’s aesthetic appeal as well.

Lloyd Ultimat custom fit floor mats are built with heavy duty construction and a high density of premium nylon yarn to protect your interior from wear. Weighing two times more than factory floor mats, these five layer mats provide unparalleled protection.

The initial layer is a 5/16” tall premium continuous filament nylon face designed to have the crush-resistant strength of steel plate. Following that is a woven mesh polypropylene layer designed to resist moisture penetration, followed by an heavy moisture-resistant latex layer and finally, Tractionbac non-slip composition rubber backing which ensures your mat won’t slip when wet.

Lloyd’s Ultimats are known for their durability and long-lasting performance, thanks to a 32oz per yard premium continuous filament nylon face that boasts a thicker density than other floor mats and four layers of backing that provide additional water, dirt and snow resistance compared to most factory mats.

For extra durability, Lloyd’s mats feature a special fastening system that attaches to your vehicles’ original floor mat anchors for secure attachment. This patented system is compatible with most factory floor mat anchors and guarantees your new Lloyd Ultimats will never slip or slide around.

Lloyd’s TractionBac rubber backing offers superior adhesion to carpet fibers in your vehicle, unlike cheaper mats with rubber nibs on the back. This helps prevent slips and allows for easy removal when cleaning is necessary.

Check Out What Happens During a C8 Pre Delivery Inspection (PDI)

Ever wondered what is done during the C8 Corvette PDI or Pre Delivery Inspection Process? Especially after waiting all that time for your C8 Corvette order to arrive?

Check out this C8 PDI Time Lapse Video from I Sell Corvettes on YouTube

The long version time lapse of the C8 pre-delivery inspection. This C8 is a fairly basic, non-Z51 so the PDI is pretty quick and easy, less than an hour and a half. I will also have a much shorter version of this time lapse as well.
