Chevy Just Released the C8 Corvette Convertible Pictures and Details from Florida and they look sick! For the First time ever Corvette is offering a hard top drop top convertible!
This new C8 Corvette Convertible is so good it might even outsell the coupe eventually. At least it will be more than 20% of Corvettes ordered as compared to Corvette Coupes and Corvette Convertibles were in the passed discussed here.

- The C8 Corvette Stingray convertible will have a power-folding hard top.
- The convertible will enter production in late 2019, with deliveries to follow in early 2020.
- The convertible will cost $7500 more than the coupe
The top folds with the help of six electric motors, can stow beneath the tonneau cover in as little as 16 seconds, and operates at speeds up to 30 mph.
The convertible will cost $7500 more than the coupe, which will keep base models below $68,000. The car will start production in late 2019, with deliveries to follow in the first quarter of 2020.
Chevy also rolled out a C8R race car and will be giving details on it later this month

The C8 convertible has arrived
Corvette has always been convertible-first, and the 2020 Stingray carries on that heritage with a first-ever production retractable hardtop. This no-compromises convertible features a top that flows seamlessly into the body while maintaining the vehicle’s impressive storage capabilities. And performance remains high when the top goes down, making this the most track-capable Corvette convertible in history.
A true performance hardtop
The two-piece hardtop can activate at speeds up to 30 mph with the power of six electric motors for improved reliability in extreme temperatures. The convertible weighs a mere 77 pounds more than coupe and the top is available in body-color or Carbon Flash.
