So while down in Miami for the R2R rally. I was able to meet up with my friend Gabe who owns CarLifestyle. If you guys remember, years ago I filmed his Camaro.
I’ve been wanting to shoot his C8 for a while, and since I was down in Miami I knew this was the perfect time. Unfortunately since I had spent 4-5 days on the rally shooting non stop, I didn’t have much energy left to go all out on this video.
But best believe there is going to be a part 2, night run video! This car looks sooooo good rolling on the road. Hope you guys enjoy the Miami vibes in this one!

MotorTrend has an article talking about the C8 Corvette E-Ray possibly being faster then the C8 Corvette Z06. However, its kind of misleading because possibly it will be faster from a launch from 0 to 60 with hybrid assist motors in the front similar to an Acura NSX.
It will most likely not be faster than a C8 Corvette Z06 overall but perhaps faster then the base C8 Corvette Stingray Z51 base model.
A YouTuber that covers most of the corvette news found on Corvette Blogger or other automotive blogs like ours HorsePower Obsessed covers this story as well as the C8 Corvette wheel issue and possibly a new C8 Corvette SUV that Chevrolet and General Motors is working on.

If you have been watching “C8 Corvette” YouTube lately you will notice channel after channel talking about Chevrolet and General Motors not accepting 2021 Chevrolet Corvette orders until at least June or July which will make any outstanding orders the 2022 model year.
What’s crazy is the C8 is argued back and forth whether its a super car or not and how its marked up already due to supply and demand and this makes it even more exotic with only 2,700 C8 Corvettes being produced in 2020 due to the UAW strike and Covid. While the C8 Corvette was the fastest selling car in February 2021 AGAIN with a higher average transaction price (over 85k!)
Now with no more 2021 orders they maybe will have 7500 units out there making inventory even lower than expected.
Looks like they are going to stay marked up as Chevy Dude pointed out recently selling Used C8s marked up and saying its taking 24 months now from order to get your car.
Its going to take until at least 2022 for the C8 Z06 to come out and for the current owners to start trading them in and for production to resume as normal for C8 Corvettes to end up on lots and for to be able to get them for under 100k.

With valves closed, the exhaust is routed through a bespoke SOUL chambered muffler we designed with an internal X-Pipe to meet our sound goals. This unique muffler was crafted to match our high standard of drone fighting mufflers that we are known for in the Porsche world. We tested a more traditional perforated core muffler design as well but the carefully engineered chambers of the final muffler result in a more aggressive sound on and off throttle with reduced undesirable tones.
With valves open, exhaust flow is free to exit through 3″ piping for a thunderous roar. Secondary flow through the muffler and x-pipe reduces rasp and smooths the exhaust note for a higher pitched, more refined sound. The end result is two distinct and enjoyable sound modes – mild and wild.
AFM valve deletes are included for the factory exhaust valves (designed to limit flow in four-cylinder mode) in order to delete them without triggering a check engine light. Due to the close proximity of the exhaust to sensitive components and plastic, heat shields are a MUST.Â
We’ve partnered with PTP Turbo Blankets to produce a bespoke, form-fitting heat shielding solution. Far superior to no-name brand copies, PTP Lava Turbo Blankets are constructed with an outer layer made from pulverized volcanic lava rock (Rated 1800°F Direct Heat / 2500°F Radiant Heat) formed into fabric and woven into a tight mesh weave.
