2023 C8 Corvette Dealer Tours & Pricing Information Update (VIDEO)

In this video by Speed Phenom on YouTube he covers the 2023 C8 Corvette Z06 dealer tours coming to Chevy dealers across the US and the latest pricing information on the C8 Z06.

As he drives his C8.R edition C8 Corvette he is selling to get a C8 Z06 he talks about the buzz and all the pricing guesses from the C8 Corvette blogs like ours, forums and C8 Corvette Facebook Groups.

The C8 Corvette Z06 pricing has been guessed at about $87995 to $90k starting out for the base model non Z07 package C8 Z06.

He’s thinking the official C8 Corvette Z06 pricing will be announced this month and the latest by April to coincide with the dealer tours.

We agree that the pricing should be by April 28th-30th the latest since that is when the National Corvette Museum has the 2022 Michelin NCM Bash in Bowling Green, Kentucky.

C8 Corvette Gets Wrapped Inozetek Metallic Racing Green

In this video you can see Racing Sport Concepts white C8 Corvette get transformed with Inozetek’s Metallic Racing Green wrap material.

In Inozetek’s Instagram post Racing Sport Concepts mentions Black Star or @goblackstar on Instagram did the wrap so perhaps “Car WrapKing Vinyl Wraps” filmed it or this is their new YouTube channel.

Either way they did an amazing job and that color looks awesome with Racing Sport Concepts full C8 Corvette carbon fiber body kit.

Inozetek is a super glossy popular wrap material company that has been growing and blowing up in the aftermarket automotive industry. We used their “super gloss Chalk grey” wrap on our C8 Corvette as well and very happy with it.

Elkhart Lake Blue C8 Corvette Z06 Spotted (VIDEO)

Check out this video by DetroitMuscle313 on YouTube where he spots an Elkhart Lake Blue C8 Corvette Z06 out on the road.

Right away his first impression is a good one and he mentions how big the tires are since the new C8 Z06 come with Michelin 345/25ZR/21 rear tires.

He also mentions how the C8 Z06 looks a lot more exotic like other mid engine supercars and now with the flat plane crank it has the high revving sounds as well. In this video you will see this is the base model C8 Corvette Z06 since it doesn’t have the higher bird like wing in the rear as the spoiler although it does look like the side skirts are carbon fiber.

Chevrolet or the Corvette Engineers have been testing these New C8 Corvette Z06s out on the roads in public without any camo a lot more recently we just posted one spotted in the Hypersonic Gray color as well.

What do you think of the Elkhart Lake Blue Corvette C8 Z06?

Hypersonic Gray C8 Corvette Z06 Spotted! (VIDEO)

In this video from Horizon Speed on YouTube he spots one of the Hypersonic Gray C8 Corvette Z06s in a parking lot in Michigan.

It’s most likely one of the Corvette engineers testing cars. But what is pretty cool is this the first one seen in the Hypersonic gray color with the full Z07 package. We have posted the C8.R Edition C8 Corvette in the Hypersonic Gray color when they were at Corvettes at Carlisle but this is the first one spotted in the C8 Z06 model.

Also, this video shows just how wide the front end of the Corvette C8 Z06 is especially with those dive planes. If you not going to track the car and you end up getting lucky enough to get a 1st year Z06 that Z07 package with the dive planes might not be the route to go.

If you want to learn more about the C8 Z06 that is suppose to come out in 2022 for the 2023 model year check out our C8 Z06 section or this C8 Corvette Z06 resource.

Emelia Hartford Twin Turbo C8 Corvette Engine Problem… Again

For awhile we were posting updates on the Twin Turbo C8 Corvette Emelia Hartford built and was the first to get to the low 9 second 1/4 mile time. But then she stopped using her Twin Turbo C8 Corvette for content.

Also, along the way when she was uploading videos of her C8 Corvette the engine had to be repaired and the transmission had to have the DCT upgraded many times with Dodson clutches.

Each time she would attempt to break her record there was a tuning issue when running a piggy back set up since the C8 Corvette still has an encrypted ECU and you can’t tune them. Most say its because GM and Chevrolet don’t want to screw a tune with an over the air update or so people won’t be discouraged from buying their new C8 Z06 or C8 Corvette ZR1 once they start building them in a few years and tune them to higher horsepower than they will be.

Emelia Hartford mentioned she has been doing a lot of testing with a new intercooler, DI injectors, and they rerouted PCP lines as well as keep testing on the Dyno with a new control module to try to trick the car to handle the boost.

In the meantime, FuelTech has secured the world record for the fastest C8 Corvette in the world currently achieving an 8.97 at 160.92 MPH in the quarter mile.

Sounds like she will be uploading more C8 Corvette content very soon once she gets her Twin Turbo C8 Corvette dialed in again.

Top Gear First Look: 2023 Chevrolet Corvette C8 Z06 (VIDEO Review)

Check out this video review of the 2023 Chevrolet Corvette C8 Z06 by Top Gear on YouTube. They cover all the specs, options, and performance numbers.

Per their C8 Z06 video description

This is the new Corvette Z06, and we’ll get the big news out of the way first: it’s being made in right-hand drive. It marks the first time we might be able to buy the most athletic ‘Vette officially in the UK. But with 670bhp, it’s also the world’s most powerful nat-asp V8 you can get. And in Z07 spec it has carbon wheels and a ginormous wing. Oh, and it also makes a fabulous noise. So allow Top Gear’s Ollie Marriage to geek out about it so you know the score before it hits our shores

If you want to learn more about the new C8 Z06 we have compiled a resource of every video, article, and post about the C8 Corvette Z06 here.

This C8 Corvette is already wrapped in Satin Purple and has aftermarket wheels. However, Certified Motors installed the Fabspeed Exhaust on it and Daily Delinquency does the rest with the lighting, vertical doors, and lowering collars.
