In this video from TJ Hunt on YouTube he helps his girlfriend Sabrina with her first mod to her new C8 Corvette they she purchased at West Coast Exotics. The first mod she is going with is a Magnaflow Exhaust ($4,739) for the C8 Corvette.
You will see them install the Magnaflow cat back exhaust for the C8 Corvette step by step and they take it for a test drive doing some rips.
In the video they are questioning whether it is loud enough or not and this is an exhaust that TJ Hunt helped with the design idea. The biggest thing TJ Hunt didn’t like was that it wasn’t too loud. However, he helped them create the X Mod which allows you to remove the mufflers and then it becomes a straight pipe exhaust.
What do you think should they take the X Mod exhaust mufflers off or leave it as it is? If you want to learn more about the Magnaflow exhaust system for the C8 Corvette check out this link and let them know C8CorvetteBlog.com sent you if you end up purchasing it from them.
In this video by Ask Griff on YouTube he compares exhaust sounds and notes of the new C8 Corvette Z06 vs a Porsche 911 GT3 and Ferrari 488 Pista.
You can hear the difference between the exhaust sounds, start up, cold start, revs and flying around the track.

As we covered many times before since Fabspeed Motorsport was one of the first companies to develop and launch a cat back exhaust for the C8 Corvette as well as sport cats they have now launched a full system including Headers.
Check out this video from Fabspeed Motorsport as Fabspeed owner, Joe Fabiani, explains the extensive measures we went through to manage heat in the C8 engine bay with our Valvetronic and Supersport Cat back Exhausts for the C8 Corvette.

Per their video CORVETTE C8 // MBRP 3″ Cat-Back Exhaust description
If you want the best value in a sports car, it’s gotta be the C8.
If you want the best value in your C8 exhaust, it’s gotta be MBRP’s 3″ cat-back! This exhaust is aggressive! This is going to turn heads anywhere you go, but inside the cabin, it’s still moderate for long drives thanks, in part, to some great engineering by the MBRP design team with the X-pipe’s form.

Considered the best in the business, my C8 gets the Fabspeed Valvetronic exhaust installed. Let me tell you this is INSANE! LOUD AF and exotic sounding. This is of course coupled with my 2M sport cats.
Today, Borla shared this video on why it took so long for them to make a cat back exhaust for the C8 Corvette and what the difference is with their system vs. other C8 catback exhausts.
They were looking for a more exotic car sound and they wanted to make sure the NPP valves with the different touring, sport, and track modes were used properly with the AFM valves. They have intercooled exhaust tips and wanted to make C8 Corvette owners didn’t have to worry about the heat produced from the cat back exhaust.
We have worked with Corsa Performance to create the best C8 exhausts on the market. The Lingenfelter Extreme exhaust series features REAL performance gains, no check engine lights, weight savings, and so much more!
