We first posted about the Borla C8 Corvette Exhaust almost a year ago.
Today, Borla shared this video on why it took so long for them to make a cat back exhaust for the C8 Corvette and what the difference is with their system vs. other C8 catback exhausts.
They were looking for a more exotic car sound and they wanted to make sure the NPP valves with the different touring, sport, and track modes were used properly with the AFM valves. They have intercooled exhaust tips and wanted to make C8 Corvette owners didn’t have to worry about the heat produced from the cat back exhaust.
So when could we expect them hitting the shelves?
Great question.. they still have a “notify me when available” button/section on the page https://www.borla.com/2020-2021-chevrolet-corvette-exhaust-systems/ so who knows.. its been well over a year in development and Toxic Garages on Instagram is the only C8 we have seen have it but he was there test car.
