Motoroso C8 Corvette hits the DYNO for Baseline! Does the Mid Engine Vette Break 500+WHP?
We took our 2020 mid-engine C8 Corvette to our local performance shop in San Luis Obispo to get some baseline readings done before we begin our mod madness. The Dyno is located at Pokerjac Automotive, it’s an all-wheel-drive mustang dyno that we had running SAE settings, rear drive configuration with a correction factor of 1.03 based on temperature. As a disclaimer, we are NOT saying the numbers in this video are definitive against the numbers that Chevrolet claim from the factory but are a baseline for us vs all the mods we’re getting ready to throw at our 2020 mid-engined C8 Corvette.
