How much does the Corvette ZR1X cost?
The 2027 Corvette ZR1X costs $227,695 for the 1LZ coupe and $237,695 for the 1LZ convertible, including the $2,495 destination charge. The 3LZ works out to $238,695 for the coupe and $248,695 for the convertible. That is $20,300 more than the 2026 launch price of $207,395. Gas guzzler tax, options and sales tax are extra.
The ZR1X has only been on sale for two model years and it has already had four different “official” prices: $207,395 at launch, $209,595 after a December 2025 increase, $227,395 when 2027 pricing came out in April 2026, and $227,695 after a $300 bump on September 28, 2026. All four were right when they were published, which is why the number you find online depends on when the article was written. Below is every 2027 trim, the full price history, what the options cost now versus 2026, what you pay on top of the sticker, and how the ZR1X lines up against the ZR1, Z06 and Grand Sport X.
2027 Corvette ZR1X price by trim
The cheapest 2027 ZR1X is the 1LZ coupe at $227,695 and the most expensive trim is the 3LZ convertible at $248,695. Every figure below includes the $2,495 destination freight charge and the flat $300 increase Chevrolet applied to the entire 2027 Corvette lineup on September 28, 2026. None of them include the gas guzzler tax.
| Trim | Coupe | Convertible |
|---|---|---|
| ZR1X 1LZ | $227,695 | $237,695 |
| ZR1X 3LZ | $238,695 | $248,695 |
- The 2027 ZR1X 1LZ coupe costs $227,695.
- The 2027 ZR1X 1LZ convertible costs $237,695, so the retractable hardtop adds $10,000.
- The 2027 ZR1X 3LZ coupe works out to $238,695, so the 3LZ interior adds $11,000.
- The 2027 ZR1X 3LZ convertible works out to $248,695.
- There is no 2LZ ZR1X. You pick 1LZ or 3LZ, coupe or convertible.
The base MSRPs Chevrolet announced in April 2026 were $224,900 for the 1LZ coupe, $234,900 for the 1LZ convertible, $235,900 for the 3LZ coupe and $245,900 for the 3LZ convertible, per Corvette Blogger's 2027 price list. Add $300 and the $2,495 destination charge and you get the table above. The 1LZ prices are widely reported at $227,695 and $237,695. The two 3LZ prices are that same math ($235,900 + $2,795 and $245,900 + $2,795), not a figure I found printed by a single source.
The Chevrolet ZR1X page shows rounded “starting at” figures of $227,800 for the 1LZ and $238,800 for the 3LZ, and an “as shown” car at $264,285. Expect a hundred dollars or so of difference between sources, and use the build-and-price tool for the exact number on the day you order.
ZR1X price history: 2026 launch vs now
The ZR1X 1LZ coupe has gone up $20,300 since launch, from $207,395 in August 2025 to $227,695 for 2027, about 9.8%. Chevrolet moved every trim by the same dollar amount at each step, so the $10,000 convertible premium and the $11,000 3LZ premium never changed.
| ZR1X trim | 2026 launch | 2026 (Dec 2025) | 2027 | Change |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| 1LZ coupe | $207,395 | $209,595 | $227,695 | +$20,300 |
| 1LZ convertible | $217,395 | $219,595 | $237,695 | +$20,300 |
| 3LZ coupe | $218,395 | $220,595 | $238,695 | +$20,300 |
| 3LZ convertible | $228,395 | $230,595 | $248,695 | +$20,300 |
| Quail Silver LE (3LZ conv.) | $241,395* | not listed | not listed | n/a |
Step by step: GM announced the 2026 ZR1X on August 6, 2025 at $207,395 for the 1LZ coupe, including a $1,995 destination charge, per GM's pricing announcement. In December 2025 Chevrolet added $2,200 to every trim, which took the 1LZ coupe to $209,595. The 2027 ZR1X 1LZ coupe costs $227,695, which is $18,100 more than the post-increase 2026 price. Of that, $17,800 is the 2027 MSRP increase and $300 is the September 2026 lineup-wide increase. The destination charge was already $2,495 in the December 2025 prices, because Chevrolet raised it by $500 on December 15, 2025 as part of that $2,200 step.
*The Quail Silver Limited Edition price of $241,395 was quoted before delivery. That is the 3LZ convertible base plus the $14,995 Quail Silver package. None of the 2027 price lists I opened include a Quail Silver ZR1X.
Searching for a “2025 ZR1X price”? There isn’t one. The ZR1X launched as a 2026 model, so $207,395 is the first ZR1X price there is. The 2025 model year was the ZR1 only. And if you searched for a “Zora” price, the hybrid flagship Chevrolet actually built is the ZR1X. This page covers U.S. pricing.
If a dealer has a leftover or lightly used 2026 ZR1X near its original sticker, that car started life $18,100 to $20,300 cheaper than a 2027 in the same trim. Same 1,250 hp, same LT7 and front motor. Do the math on a 2026 before you assume the newer model year is the better buy, and remember the market price is not the sticker (more on that below).
Options that move the ZR1X price
The ZR1X options that move the price most are the visible carbon fiber wheels at $15,995 and the ZR1 Carbon Fiber Aero Package at $12,995 for 2027. Both went up $2,000 and $2,500 from 2026. The 2026 prices below are from GM Authority's 2026 ZR1X options list, and the 2027 prices are from GM Authority’s 2027 option price changes.
| Option (RPO) | 2026 ZR1X | 2027 |
|---|---|---|
| 10-spoke visible carbon fiber wheels (SU1) | $13,995 | $15,995 |
| ZR1 Carbon Fiber Aero Package (TOM) | $10,495 | $12,995 |
| Quail Silver Limited Edition (ZRA, 3LZ) | $14,995 | not listed |
| ZTK Track Performance Package | $1,500 | not published |
| Carbon fiber interior level 2 (FA6, 3LZ) | $4,995 | $5,295 |
| Front lift with memory (E60) | $2,595 | $2,995 |
| Carbon Flash forged wheels (SOG) | $1,495 | $1,995 |
| Customer VIN ending reservation (PIN) | $5,000 | $5,495 |
- The 2027 ZR1X visible carbon fiber wheels cost $15,995, up $2,000 from 2026.
- The 2027 ZR1X Carbon Fiber Aero Package costs $12,995, up $2,500 from 2026.
- The 2026 ZR1X ZTK Track Performance Package was listed at $1,500.
- The 2026 Quail Silver Limited Edition package was $14,995 and only came on the 3LZ convertible.
- Carbon ceramic brakes are standard on every ZR1X, so there is no brake package to add.
About the ZTK on a 2027 ZR1X: GM Authority’s 2027 list shows the ZTK at $5,995 for the ZR1 only, and I could not find a separate 2027 ZR1X ZTK price. 2027 ZR1X 3LZ cars with ZTK are on the road, so it is orderable; confirm the price on the configurator or the window sticker.
Stack the carbon wheels and the carbon aero on a 2027 1LZ coupe and you are at $256,685 before paint, interior options, the gas guzzler tax and anything at the dealer. Chevrolet’s own 2027 “as shown” ZR1X is $264,285, and the auction cars covered below carried window stickers of $290,289 and $296,100.
What a ZR1X really costs on top of MSRP
On top of MSRP, a ZR1X buyer pays the gas guzzler tax, sales tax and registration, any dealer markup, and insurance. On this car the gap between sticker and real cost can be bigger than the price of a Stingray.
- Gas guzzler tax. The 2026 ZR1X carried a $2,600 federal gas guzzler tax, the same with either aero setup, per Corvette Blogger and Motorious. That is $400 less than the $3,000 Motorious reports for the ZR1. The 2027 ZR1X figure was not published in any source I could open, so check the window sticker.
- Sales tax, title and registration. These depend on your state and county, and on a car that starts above $227,000 they add up fast. Get an out-the-door number in writing.
- Markup and the auction market. A 2027 ZR1X 3LZ ZTK coupe with a $290,289 sticker sold for $402,000 plus fees on Bring a Trailer, as reported in September 2026. Another 2027 3LZ ZTK car with a $296,100 sticker sold for $441,000. A 2027 3LZ ZTK convertible sold for $390,000 plus fees, as reported in October 2026, which autoevolution reported as $102,000 over MSRP. Those are auction results, not what every dealer charges, so call several stores.
- Insurance. A 1,250 hp car with a sticker near $230,000 costs a lot to insure, and quotes vary widely by driver, location and carrier. Get one before you sign.
One of those auction reports notes the first private buyer had to keep the car for a year or lose the warranty, per autoevolution’s report. If you are buying to flip, read the paperwork before you commit.
I own a ZR1, and before that a Stingray and two Z06s. I don’t own a ZR1X, so I’m not going to tell you what one is like to live with. What I can tell you is the sticker is the easy number. The real number is out the door: tax, fees, the options you actually want and whatever the market adds. Budget for that number, not the first one on the configurator.
ZR1X vs ZR1 vs Z06 vs Grand Sport X price
The 2027 ZR1X costs $30,200 more than a ZR1, $106,000 more than a Z06 and $115,200 more than a Grand Sport X, comparing base coupes with destination included. Here is the 2027 ladder:
| 2027 model (base coupe) | Price | Power | Drive | $ per hp |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Grand Sport X | $112,495 | 721 hp | AWD | $156 |
| Z06 1LZ | $121,695 | 670 hp | RWD | $182 |
| ZR1 1LZ | $197,495 | 1,064 hp | RWD | $186 |
| ZR1X 1LZ | $227,695 | 1,250 hp | AWD | $182 |
The 2027 Grand Sport X costs $112,495. The 2027 Z06 1LZ coupe costs $121,695. The 2027 ZR1 1LZ coupe costs $197,495. The 2027 ZR1X 1LZ coupe costs $227,695. Chevrolet priced the Z06, ZR1 and ZR1X almost perfectly linear on power, about $182 to $186 per horsepower, so none of them is a bargain next to the others on that measure. The Grand Sport X is the outlier at about $156 per horsepower, and it is the other all-wheel-drive hybrid in the 2027 lineup. More on it in the Grand Sport X guide.
At 2026 launch prices the ZR1X was $25,000 more than the ZR1. For 2027 that gap is $30,200. If you are trying to decide between the two, the full breakdown is in ZR1 vs ZR1X and the ZR1 side of the pricing is in the C8 ZR1 price guide. For the Z06 jump, see C8 Z06 vs ZR1.
What the extra money buys
The ZR1X’s extra $30,200 over a ZR1 buys a 186 hp front electric motor and all-wheel drive on top of the same 1,064 hp twin-turbo 5.5L LT7, for 1,250 hp combined. Chevrolet quotes 0 to 60 mph in 1.89 seconds for the ZR1X against 2.3 seconds for the ZR1, and a quarter mile of 8.99 seconds at 157 mph. Carbon ceramic brakes are standard, with 16.5-inch rotors front and rear and Alcon 10-piston front and 6-piston rear calipers, per Chevrolet.
If you want the quickest-accelerating Corvette, Chevrolet’s 1.89-second figure puts the ZR1X ahead of the ZR1, and the price reflects it. If you mainly drive on the street or want rear-drive feel, a ZR1 or Z06 saves real money. My pros and cons for the ZR1 are in the C8 ZR1 review, the hybrid’s full specs are in the ZR1X guide, and the ZR1 and ZR1X Nürburgring times show what the money does on track.
Rival supercar prices are left off this page on purpose. They change often and rarely match what those dealers actually charge, so compare them on their makers’ own configurators.
