Part two of Daily Downshift comparison video between the Z51 package corvette C8 and our base model corvette c8. The other vehicle has this performance package as well as 2LT trim level, while ours doesn’t and is the 1LT trim level. We drove both vehicles and the biggest differences were in the suspension and steering wheel feel.
This is a really good reference. Thanks for the critique. This actually help me to settle on the non-performance suspension. I had the Z51, full performance package, with the magnetic shocks, on my C7.
But, I never track it, so as a daily driver I, and my wife, found the ride too tight and too rough.
I even went in a got the computer tuning on the magnetic shocks to soften it up in Sport and touring mode, but still found it on the rough side.
when you describe you base model as “floaty” over the bumps, I look forward to that!
i ordered a Z51 track pack pkg….all i do is track it….do not order Z51 if you don’t track it….its pretty stiff if you get all the other options reqd to race…..glenn

Z51 riding around in track mode with magnetic ride is the perfect combination! DONT LISTEN TO THIS BAD ADVICE UNLESS YOUR 75 yrs old…
