Paragon Performance Launches C8 Corvette Aftermarket Parts Website

While checking out new videos on YouTube on the C8 Corvette I came across this new company called Paragon Performance with a lowering kit, exhaust, and vinyl sticker lights for the C8 Corvette.

So I did more digging and found the same videos on Instagram as well as their website that states on their About us page:

Paragon Performance C8

Paragon Performance is located in Des Moines, Iowa with our new facility opening in Waukee, Iowa late 2020. With a focus on engineering and marketing Paragon will create products that perform and are affordable. Using already established relationships that have been used in the past to create parts in the import segment, Paragon Performance will become a leader in the upper tier sports car segment. Sports car brands we focus on are, Corvette (C7 and up), Porsche, and other exotics.

Paragon offers performance products such as exhausts, turbo kits, intakes, tuning, and other performance items that will be built and tested in house providing real results that customers want. Everything we create is backed with a warranty worthy of the car it goes on.

Among the staff, we have over 50 years of experience in autosports and modifying vehicles, with hundreds of hours behind the wheel competitively. We also have over 30 years of experience in sales and distribution so we are confident that we WILL keep our customers happy – by recommending parts that are proven to work with your vehicle for your specific purpose, and providing competitive pricing and reliable delivery.

We’re not here to just sell and make parts, but also advise you on the best options for your specific use. A daily driver that needs to keep noise down and comply with CARB laws, or something that can autocross and be competitive yet still make the commute to work comfortably. Need an HPDE set up, or questions on tires or brakes? We got that covered as well. We have done it all so we know what works and what doesn’t. So if you need to make your vehicle faster, sharper, or handle better we’re the one place to make it happen.

One thing that stood out is their new C8 Corvette cat back exhaust that should be available in November as that titanium exhaust x pipe look and sounds great.

Paragon Performance C8 Corvette Exhaust!

We also added Paragon Performance C8 video to our “How to lower a C8 Corvette” blog post as another alternative to other products that are out there.

And finally here is a nice quick and easy mod you can do to your C8 Corvette to block out the taillights.

C8 Corvette 0 to 60 in 2.6 Seconds

Check out this Video from Prince_Whipz870 where he achieves a 2.6 second 0 to 60 (zero to sixty) in the C8 Corvette.

Per his video notes:

I achieved a 2.6 0-60 time in my non Z51, 1LT 2020 Mid Engine C8 Corvette. In this video I will show you how to achieve that time and give a couple of more pulls. This is a base model car and it really is a beast.

C8 Corvette 0-60 times and Quarter Mile

We have been seeing consistent C8 Corvette o to 60 times at about 2.9 seconds. Including when we launched C8CorvetteBlog’s C8 Corvette here on Instagram.

Also, there was another C8 Corvette in Arizona that ran a C8 Corvette 0 to 60 time at 2.5 as well here according the C8 Corvette PDR (performance data recorder) built into the car.

Lastly, the best ALL Motor set up and non Twin Turbo C8 Corvette we have seen via Car_C8 on Instagram ran a 10.55 quarter mile time at 129 MPH.

This is the fastest C8 Corvette Quarter mile time other than a few Twin Turbo C8 Corvettes.

We BROKE our C8 CORVETTE installing the first C8 CORSA EXHAUST

Check out this Video from Atlanta Custom Wraps WrapLife YouTube channel where they show the FIRST Corsa Exhaust built for the New Mid Engine C8 Corvette.

They really did this C8 right with the Camo Wrap, BG Forged wheels, and Corsa Cat Back Exhaust.

They have a C7 Corvette that is pretty much identical as well so be sure to check out their website and Instagram for more pictures, videos, and information on their services and tell them C8CorvetteBlog.com sent you!

My C8 Corvette gets LOUD! NEW CORSA XTREME TRACK EXHAUST

Making my 2021 C8 Corvette LOUD with the help from our friends over at Corsa Performance and J-Rods Speed Shop! This is the Corsa Xtreme track series exhaust for the C8 Corvette WITHOUT the dual mode exhaust (NPP) feature & WITHOUT the AFM valves.

Installed a CORSA XTREME EXHAUST on the C8 CORVETTE!! Sounds INSANE!

The Corsa Xtreme is installed and sounds FANTASTIC!! This is the exhaust note and sound that I wanted. The Factory NPP exhaust sounds great but wasn’t wild like this. Straight X-Pipe Exhaust makes for some pretty insane and intense pops and burbles. Amazing job by Corsa Performance Exhaust Systems on this exhaust system. Love It!

Check out this Custom Built Titanium Cat Back Exhaust for the C8 Corvette

This video shows the entire process of putting a custom titanium exhaust on the Stradman’s old C8 Corvette!

The Corvette is now owned by Chandler David Smith and he loves the new cat back exhaust custom built by Power Needy Motorsports in Idaho.

You can watch the custom titanium cat back exhaust build below.

How to Use Launch Control in the C8 Corvette

Check out this YouTube video on how to use and activate Launch Control in the C8 Corvette.

There are many launch control modes from Sport to Track and in Track launch control modes there are Wet, Dry, Sport 1, Sport 2, and Race modes as well.

You have to put your foot to floor hard on the brake and the gas pedal and wait for it to hit 3,500 RPMs.

If you don’t get to 3,500 RPMs then you aren’t holding the brake down hard enough.

C8 Corvette Launch Control Videos

In this video above, he talks about how to enter the service mode, SD card size, and Launch Control (tips, what modes Launch Control is available in) and try my first 0-60 runs and an attempted peel out.

Note: For each run, he made sure there were no other vehicles around him. When on the two lane roads there were no other vehicles visible in front or behind me at all. With flat roads, I had great visibility. In addition, speed limits on the roads I used were 70, 65, and 55. I know none of this is visible to those watching, but I made sure I wasn’t putting anyone else at risk in my 0-60 runs. Now, for the 1/4 mile runs, I definitely want to demonstrate those, but plan to do so on a track.
