Hopefully, GM or Chevrolet will come out with better C8 Corvette colors for the C8 Z06 like an exotic or supercar Green or Purple color.
We are guessing the Caffeine Brown or better known as Hersey Chocolate and Meatloaf will be the first C8 Corvette color discontinued out of the 3 new colors like the Shadow Grey Metallic and Zeus Bronze was.
As we talked about before Chevy is coming out with three new colors for the 2022 C8 Corvette and beyond possibly if they don’t discontinue any of them like they did the shadow grey metallic and Zeus bronze.
We posted about the hypersonic gray in the c8.r edition that was seen at Corvettes at Carlisle in Pennsylvania. And here is another video of the Amplify Orange color on the C8 Corvette from Brink of Speed on YouTube.
Also shown the new lower profile Z51 lip duck bill spoiler that is closer to the trunk lid with very little space between the trunk and the spoiler.

In 2022, this is a C8 Corvette package that is called the C8R edition and as we covered before it’s mainly a graphics and sticker tribute to the C8.R race car. There is no engine improvement and still uses the same Tremac DCT in any other C8 Corvette.
IMSA GTLM Championship Edition
The 2022 Corvette Stingray IMSA GTLM Championship Edition is based on the 3LT trim with Z51 Performance Package. Each car includes Corvette Racing-themed graphics packages. Accelerate Yellow No. 3 editions feature gray graphics and Hypersonic Gray No. 4 editions feature yellow accents.

The C8 Z06 is going to have new aero kit options including a split wing as well as new wheels and a center exhaust.
There are Chevy Dealerships with 900+ waiting lists and have already said they are going to mark up the C8 Z06. The C8 Z06 is sold out before it’s even revealed.

He now called 15 of the top Chevy dealers that have the highest Corvette sales and some of the lists had 900 people (Macmulkin Chevrolet Cadillac). He even had Chevy Dealers saying it would be a 4 year wait! Also, they admitted there will a list drop off based on financial reasons etc..
It’s not going to even matter about the possible new C8 z06 colors we talked about people being able to choose when most people won’t be able to get one with a lot more limited production and waiting lists of hundreds of people at each Chevy Dealer in the country.
It’s going to be very interesting to see what Chevy reveals about the C8 Z06 on October 26th including pricing, production dates, and if they are going to control the allocation flow and mark ups better vs what happened with the C8 Stingray which was effected by a UAW strike, Covid, and supply chain issues.

In these video from HorsePower Obsessed and Brink of Speed they are covering the new C8 Corvette Callaway edition debuting at Corvettes of Carlisle.
They haven’t mentioned any power increase but time will tell when they show it off at Corvettes of Carlisle. The only information provided so far is they are using new aero, a center exit exhaust, and of course it comes with or maintains the factory warranty.
The big difference is the aero kit and their big wing to get you into the Big Wang Gang! There is a chance they have access to unlock the Chevy C8 Corvette ECU but not sure on that since C8 Corvette has over the air updates now that can knock that out real quick.
We agree with HorsePower Obsessed it’s probably a little too late unless someone is a hardcore Callaway enthusiast since the C8 Z06 is coming out with multiple variants soon.
They better come with a pretty big engine upgrade which the C8 Corvette seems to be limited at that 600-650HP mark before the current Tremac Dual Clutch Transmission starts slipping. Hopefully they will have an axel upgrade too since they are known to break.

Also, there has been article after article recently talking about the C8 Corvette E Ray testing with the Acura NSX. The C8 Corvette E Ray will not have all the same specs, tires, motors as the C8 Z06 but it will be getting all wheel drive. And possibly faster than the C8 Z06 going 0 to 60 in 2 seconds.
The C8 Corvette E Ray is suppose to be a hybrid assist C8 Corvette while the C8 Corvette Zora will be full electric along with the C9 Corvette is our guess to be an all electric Corvette line up.
It makes a lot of sense to use an Acura NSX as a benchmark since it has two electric motors up front on each wheel and an electric motor on it’s V6 Twin Turbo set up that pushed out 573 HP and is all wheel drive.
This is the way cars are going as shown with the fastest production car in the world the Tesla Model S Plaid running 9.2 second quarter miles at 154 mph and is a 4 door family sedan with 3 electric 400HP motors providing 1020 horsepower to the wheel with Elon Musk sand bagging the rest of the horsepower with a software update.
