YouTuber Speed Phenom First C8 Corvette Z06 Museum Delivery

In this video you can see YouTuber Speed Phenom take the first C8 Corvette Z06 Corvette Museum delivery. We have been seeing a lot of the C8 Corvette Z06s delivered to Ciocca Corvette and Hendricks but this is the first video we have seen of a Corvette Museum delivery of the C8 Corvette Z06.

Speed Phenom isn’t new to the C8 Corvette Museum delivery as he received his 2020 Torch Red C8 Corvette a few years ago there as well. He later sold his 2020 C8 Corvette for a profit to CarMax before the car market started to crash and CarMax recently had a horrible earnings quarter as their stock is publicly traded.

Flying from San Diego to Bowling Green Kentucky to pick up my new C8 Corvette after the plant shutdown! Many dealers across the country are being forced to close, and the National Corvette Museum has also been forced to do the same… However, GM is still able to deliver handful of C8s across the street from the plant despite the roadblocks. The experience was AMAZING! I highly recommend that you opt for this experience… I am so impressed with this car. This is a without a doubt a Super Car!

As you can see in the video the Corvette Museum representative Stacy goes through every feature and setting you can set with your C8 Corvette or C8 Corvette Z06 to get you familiar with the car.

Speed Phenom’s C8 Corvette Z06 spec’d to $169,000 plus and with sales tax its going to be over $185,000. Below is Part 1 and Part 2 of his YouTube series of buying and taking delivery of his Corvette Z06 at the Corvette Museum starting with his dealer Burbank Chevrolet in California.

Corvette Announces the C8 Corvette Z06 is About to hit the Streets!

This morning on Instagram, Facebook and social media Corvette announced that the first C8 Corvette Z06s have been made and are about to hit the streets.

BEST C8 Corvette Z06 News

This is great news as they are keeping with the TPWs (Target Production Week) in November they have been providing with the first 300+ allocations they gave out to the selected few 3,000 dealers who received them.

Of course the first C8 Corvette Z06 will be going to Rick Hendrick as he donated and bid millions of dollars to Charity at Barrett Jackson for the first coupe and first C8 Corvette Z06 convertible.

Also, Chevrolet has told dealers they will be starting to provide allocations in November vs. the January 2023 start date of ordering again after they gave out the first 300+ allocations in August of 2022.

There has been some confusion because in the notice to dealers they use the verbiage “shipments” vs. allocations but many dealers have confirmed that’s what they mean when they say that.

Also, in this video by Records Rebuilds who is one of the YouTubers that have had quality, honest, information he shares more C8 Corvette Z06 updates and his update with Ciocca Corvette and his concern with the lower rated Torque.

He mentioned how Ciocca Corvette received allocations separate from the “list” and we heard they received 32 allocations in August when GM first gave out the 300+ allocations or so to Chevy Dealers.  They have 18 cars at 3000 status and have 10 cars at 3100 status. They have 4 cars at 3300 which means the C8 Z06 is scheduled for production 3 cars at 3400 status and they are pulling parts to build the C8 Z06. They have 7 cars at 3800 status and those cars are built already and waiting quality control from Chevrolet.

For some reason he mentions this doesn’t effect the list of 5,000 plus people that have given Ciocca Corvette $5,000 deposits since these were considered some type of “special” allocation vs all the people waiting on their list.

C8 Z06 Corvette news has been scarce but today we get hit with multiple major updates. This is some of the best Z06 information released so far. Check out todays update covering all the leaked and official information.

In this video above it shows the LT7 is possibly coming as well that is rumored to possibly be part of the new Hybrid Electric C8 Corvette but it might be for the C8 ZR1 or “Zora”

As you will see here in this video as well Trevor Thompkins the Car, Performance and Motorsports Communications (General Motors PR guy) has said that 2023 Corvette Z06 orders will resume in November 2022 or this month.

2023 Corvette Z06 vs Lamborghini Evo vs Ferrari 458 RACE (VIDEO)

Ms. Emelia Hartford did it again! Besides breaking the record in the quarter mile and 0 to 60 with the new 2023 Corvette Z06 she has the first video of the C8 Corvette Z06 drag racing a Ferrari 458 and a Lamborghini Huracan EVO.

Weight and Horsepower of all three mid engine cars

  • Lamborghini Huracan Evo is 3,400 pounds and 600 horsepower
  • Ferrari 458 is 3,200 pounds and 570 horsepower
  • C8 Corvette Z06 is 3,700 pounds and 670 horsepower

The C8 Corvette Z06 is over $100,000 less than both the Ferrari 458 and the Lamborghini Huracan Evo.

The C8 Corvette Z06 clearly kills the Ferrari 458 from a dig and a roll its not even close. The C8 Corvette Z06 also kills the Lamborghini Huracan Evo from a dig and gapped the Huracan EVO even bogging on the launch.

The 2023 C8 Corvette Z06 pulls away from the Lamborghini Huracan Evo even in a roll race as well. It’s clear the New 2023 C8 Corvette Z06 is the best value for he money and an exotic and super car killer!

Even with giving the Ferrari 458 and the Lamborghini Huracan Evo the hit and car lengths the C8 Corvette Z06 kills both cars. Now you can see why there are thousands of people waiting on lists for over 2 years waiting for this car to come out. It’s the same engine as the C8.R Race car that is dominating the IMSA race series that is going to be made available to the public once the orders start flowing again in January. For now the lucky 300 or so allocations that were given out in August are going to have a treat once the C8 Corvette Z06 production starts and they start rolling of the line and are delivered to their respective local Chevy dealerships.

And we are sure the Chevy dealerships will continue to mark up the 2023 C8 Corvette Z06 $50-$100k and get it even with the 6 month wait on reselling the car unless you want to lose your warranty on the C8 Z06.

2023 Corvette Z06 Review // The $100,000 Supercar

The 2023 Corvette C8 Z06 ($106,000 in the US, $128,000 starting in Canada) aspires to achieve a formidable goal: to slay supercar titans and crush its competition for a fraction of the cost. The mad scientists at Corvette say they designed it to have both the soul of a Ferrari 458 and the clinical speed of a Porsche GT2 RS. An extremely bold claim. 670 horsepower. 8600 rpm redline. This is the most powerful naturally aspirated V8 in any production car ever. Will it be able to live up to its mighty expectations? Thomas and James aim to find out. We hope you enjoy the episode. The C8 Corvette Z06 is a Manic Track Car for the Street

Chevrolet invited us to Pitt Race for a first drive of the 2023 C8 Chevy Corvette Z06 and would you just LISTEN to it! The C8 Corvette Z06 is powered by a unique flat-plane crank 5.5L V8, naturally-aspirated making 670 HP and 490 lb-ft. It’s a screamer! We spent all morning on track at Pitt Race with the #c8z06 and C8 Z06 with Z07 performance package, then took a black C8 Corvette Z06 70th Anniversary edition for a 3-hour road drive on some excellent back roads. The 2023 C8 Corvette Z06 Is Ferrari’s Worst Nightmare

The 2023 C8 Corvette Z06 could possibly be the most anticipated sports car of the year. From the very moment you step in the C8 Z06 your mind says “this…can’t be a Corvette.” That’s exactly what Chevrolet wanted you to think and what they have accomplished is astounding. They built a flat plane crank V8 completely from scratch with none of the drawbacks of a high revving engine. The Z06 actually in fact became the first car in years to have me sit back and ask myself “what time do we live in?” Ferrari better watch out – the Corvette is coming for you.

2023 Corvette C8 Z06 | Making Cars Great Again

We provide one of the most in-depth looks at the new 2023 Corvette C8 Z06. We talked to the engineers about the approach and difficulties of designing a 670HP naturally aspirated V8 in the modern age. With more exotic performance and a starting price of nearly $105,000, there will be plenty of discussions about how this resets the internal combustion supercar formula.

Is the NEW 2023 Chevrolet Corvette Z06 a performance car WORTH the PRICE?

FIRST DRIVE: The C8 Z06 is here and Chevrolet is ready for the competition. This Corvette competes directly with Porsche 911 GT3, Ferrari F8 Tributo, Lamborghini Huracan, Mercedes AMG GT R and Audi R8. Under the engine cover is a 5.5L V8 that produces 670HP & is mated to an 8-speed DCT. On the outside you will find extra aero, wider stance and larger air intakes. On the inside there is a ton of carbon fiber, special steering wheel and custom interior options. Is the NEW 2023 Chevrolet C8 Corvette Z06 a performance car WORTH the PRICE?

Exclusive First 1/4 Mile: 2023 Corvette Z06 *New World Record*

In this video Emelia Hartford share the first Quarter Mile and 0 to 60 (zero to sixty) times in the all New 2023 C8 Corvette Z06 which Chevrolet says is 10.6 quarter mile and 2.6 0 to 60.

You will notice Emelia Hartford takes off traction control and gets a better time and closer to the 10.6 quarter mile Chevrolet and General Motors says the car does.

Also, Chevrolet gives Emelia Hartford some insights on how to launch it quicker with rapid exit. In this scenario you hold both paddle shifters which puts it into neutral then let go of one of the shifters and then pull back the shifters again and you can hear the RPMs go higher for launch in the PTM Race 1 mode.

She also gets a lot better results with a prepped track vs no prep track using this mode. She also learns you can manually adjust the RPM and slip % on launch control so you are able to customize that to your liking.

  • Emelia Hartford Sets the NEW World Record for Quarter Mile time for the New 2023 C8 Corvette Z06 at 10.51 seconds at 130.11 miles per hour
  • Emelia Hartford Sets new 0 to 60 record at 2.2 seconds for the C8 Corvette Z06
  • She customized the launch control to achieve these results.

Is the C8 Corvette Z06 Production is Halted?

Last week we posted an update from Rick Corvette Conti a Corvette sales professional in Ohio that General Motors is halting the orders of the new C8 Corvette Z06.

However, everyone is still wondering if production of the 300+ known allocations and possible 500 more “VIP” orders General Motors hand selected like Emelia Hartford, TJ Hunt, and the Stradman will still go into production this month.

StreetSpeed717 confirmed 3 YouTubers were hand selected by Chevrolet and General Motors at his local Chevy dealer in Pennsylvania at Whitmoyer Chevrolet.

There is also speculation General Motors is hand selecting these people in a unique way since EddieX and Speed Phenom on YouTube also were selected to get their orders of the C8 Corvette and Eddie X never owned Corvette before unlike Speed Phenom that has a “track” focused YouTube channel and since StreetSpeed717 was more “TRX” focused lately with his channel jumping cars.

And further speculation they are halting production because there is something wrong with the car now that its a flat plane crank engine and the highest NA horsepower engine ever built. Which is another reason why people are saying they are going to void the warranty if you don’t keep it at least 6 months and try to flip the car so they don’t have to pay to fix any of the issues.

Just when it was announced only 10% of C8 Corvettes were going to be C8 Z06 models or about 3,000 a year they pulled the rug out from everyone and stopped orders. There are people that have been on dealer lists for years that will have to continue to wait even longer for the new C8 Z06 that’s if they continue to wait at all or decide to switch over to a Acura NSX, McLaren, Porsche, Ferrari, or Lamborghini instead.

In this video Speed Phenom, Austin mentions he doesn’t have any inside information about the C8 Corvette Z06 production still starting on his hand selected allocation for the C8 Z06 but he doesn’t seem too worried about it.

Our guess is even though General Motors and Chevrolet halted orders for the 2023 C8 Corvette Z06 they are still going to start production on the 300+ allocations given out to dealers in August, 2022 including the hand selected “VIPs” and YouTubers they wanted to have the car.

General Motors Halts 2023 C8 Corvette Z06 Orders (VIDEO)

If there wasn’t enough drama, waiting, mark ups with the C8 Corvette and the new 2023 C8 Corvette Z06 you’re in luck there’s more!

Rick Corvette Conti on YouTube just let the Corvette community know that General Motors and Chevrolet are not accepting any more orders for the 2023 C8 Corvette Z06 until 2024!

The C8 Corvette has been nothing but issues since they debuted the car in the summer of 2019 in California. And when they did with a starting $59,995 price tag it increase the C8 Corvette demand like no other Corvette in it’s history being a new mid engine platform. People looked at it as they do with most Corvettes an American sports car with tremendous value.

Now almost three years later you can find C8 Corvettes selling above MSRP as many Chevy dealers marked up the C8 Corvette as well as the new and highly anticipated flat plane crank high revving C8 Corvette Z06 for 2023.

On July, 28th, 2022 about 9 months after the 2023 C8 Corvette Z06 reveal they opened up the order banks and provided about 315 allocations to Chevy dealers that quickly marked them up to $90k-100k to get the first C8 Z06s.

Along with the people having to pay mark ups for the early orders or being on lists for years they provided YouTubers and VIPs a chance to skip the long dealer lists and get theirs first as well. For example Emelia Hartford has been given two C8 Corvette Z06 press cars and has placed her order. Also, Austin with Speed Phenom has also entered his order as well with a Chevy Dealer in California that isn’t in the top 100 for Corvette sales.

And as of today September 2nd, 2022 Rick Corvette Conti a Corvette sales person in Ohio at Coughlin Chevrolet of Pataskala received noticed they are no longer taking orders for the C8 Corvette Z06 until 2023! He mentioned its due to supply chain which funny enough has effected the entire United States in many areas since November of 2020.

Also, we found out that one of the first C8 Corvette allocations that were suppose to be built September 19th 2022 has been pushed back until November, 2022.

On Today’s upload, EVEN MORE BREAKING NEWS for the 2023 Corvette, NOW ALL Z06 orders are stopped until New Year as announced from Chevrolet!

So how many of you are going to continue to wait? Leave a comment below if you are going to wait for the C8 Corvette Z06, get your deposits back from dealers, or get something else?
