They still didn’t provide production or release dates, pricing (most likely $85-$95k to start), lists and mark up information. We have heard dealers already with 1000+ people on their lists and will be marking them up again anywhere from $10-50k.

Other things they didn’t mention was top speed and weight (updated here, 3450 with the Z07 full carbon fiber/wheels). So our guess is either its the same or not impressive enough to share.

2023 Chevrolet Corvette Z06 Production Dates and Ordering

We have heard from a local Arizona Chevy dealer that the production will start in the summer of 2022. Also, dealers like Coughlin Chevrolet just announced they will using a bidding process for highest bidders to get the C8 Z06 first. You can learn more about that at Rick Corvette Conti’s YouTube channel.

In another recent update here in January of 2022 there are several YouTubers and C8 Forums buzzing about a part supplier for the C8 Z06 saying they need to be ready April 22nd producing the part they do for the Corvette Z06 which coincides close to the 2023 C8 Corvette May 9th production dates released to dealers.

The new videos that Chevrolet keeps releasing keeps talking about putting the world on notice as a global car and to take on the exotics and supercars.

This was recently discussed here in a YouTube video about how the C8 Z06 Production will not be limited which again is speculation and nothing official from General Motors or Chevrolet.

Speed Phenom recently interviewed a Corvette engineer that said the dry weight of the lightest version of the C8 Corvette Z06 was 3450 and that would be the Z07 package version with the carbon fiber wheels.

So now there are two videos with leaked C8 Z06 pricing information from two Chevy Dealers that the Corvette C8 Z06 will be priced at $87,000 and a leaked build sheet for the 2023 C8 Corvette Z06 showing it starts at $88,000 for the base model coupe and $95,500 for the base model C8 Z06 convertible.

He uses a C7 Z06 Corvette Price Configurator to as a reference point to the new C8 Z06 Corvette which everyone thinks will be starting in the $90k range which would be about 8k more then that C7 Corvette pricing started out as.

Recently, Rick Corvette Conti said he has seen the engine, interior and some new features too was this what he was hinting at too?

You can see now in the video when in this new Track Display mode it tells you when to shift and goes from Green, Yellow to Red for the shift points.

If you click “numerical” in the tachometer Track mode you can see the RMP gauge giving the exact RPM real time read out. And when you start driving it will show you the shift points. This could be a preview into the new C8 Z06 numerical RPM tachometer display.

Check out this video by Carspotter Jeroen where the low wing C8 Z06 Corvette was timed running a 8:18 and the High Wing C8 Z06 Corvette ran a 7:12 unofficial lap time at the Nurburgring.

We first reported on the C8 Z06 at the Nurburgring back in early August but there continues to be a lot of testing leading up to the October 26th, 2021 reveal of the C8 Z06 and production information as well as specs and price.

There are dealers that have 900+ people on waiting lists already for the new 2023 C8 Corvette Z06 models and a lot of speculation that the C8 Z06 is already sold out and dealers have already confirmed C8 Z06 mark ups again as they did and continue to do with the base model C8 Corvette Stingray and Z51 package.

Check out this very clear video of the C8 Z06 variations testing at the Nurburgring. You can really get a good look and hear the flat plane crank engine in this one.

The C8 Z06 is going to have new aero kit options including a split wing as well as new wheels and a center exhaust.

2023 CORVETTE C8 Z06 CONTINUES TESTING AT THE NÜRBURGRING!

Check out this video from DadBodSZN610 on YouTube has he been waiting for a base model C8 Corvette since February 2020!

He now called 15 of the top Chevy dealers that have the highest Corvette sales and some of the lists had 900 people (Macmulkin Chevrolet Cadillac). He even had Chevy Dealers saying it would be a 4 year wait! Also, they admitted there will a list drop off based on financial reasons etc..

He has a point though C8 Corvettes sold for 5k, 20k, 30k, and even STILL marked up $50k as we posted about an Arizona Chevy Dealer Gateway Chevrolet known for HUGE C8 Corvette mark ups as well as one of the Top Corvette dealers in sales of Corvettes Van Chevrolet marking up C8 Corvettes $20k!

Check out his video he has many valid points including C8 Corvette prices not dropping that much even with the C8 Z06 coming out.

We have also posted a C8 Z06 pricing mark up video by Speed Phenom where every Chevy Dealer in Los Angeles had C8 Z06 lists and they were marking them too!

It’s not going to even matter about the possible new C8 z06 colors we talked about people being able to choose when most people won’t be able to get one with a lot more limited production and waiting lists of hundreds of people at each Chevy Dealer in the country.

It’s going to be very interesting to see what Chevy reveals about the C8 Z06 on October 26th including pricing, production dates, and if they are going to control the allocation flow and mark ups better vs what happened with the C8 Stingray which was effected by a UAW strike, Covid, and supply chain issues.

You can tell the wing, aero, front bumpers and wheels are significantly different. The base model actually looks better in some angles with the wing and wheels in our opinion vs. the C8 Z07 Z06 model.

Another YouTuber Supercar Ranch went over the spy shots of the 2023 C8 Corvette Z06 and noticed it had the same Carbon Fiber wheels that were leaked and were for sale on eBay over a year ago.

TOP 5 NEXT-LEVEL CHANGES FOR THE 2023 C8 CORVETTE Z06!

In this video by YouTuber Speed Phenom, Austin Everett the C8 Corvette mark ups will continue on the 2023 C8 Corvette Z06, however how high are people on these “lists” able to spend or want to spend on the new Corvette C8 Z06 will be the question.

You will notice Speed Phenom, Austin Everett go to at least 5 Chevrolet dealers in the Los Angeles area. And not only do a few have 100s on their C8 Corvette Z06 list most have already said they will be adding a $20k – $30k mark up on the C8 Corvette Z06 that comes out in 2023 as well.

The funny part of this video is some of these same Chevy dealers in California he visited had 1LT C8 Corvettes marked up $50k plus still.

This C8 Corvette market is hot, the chip shortages, lockdowns, and UAW strike didn’t help and now it doesn’t look like its going to cool off anytime soon.

I know people already selling or trying to sell their 2020, 2021 C8 Corvettes in anticipation for the C8 Z06 that is coming however you might not be able to get one for a long time like the C8 Corvette base model Stingray so maybe its worth keeping it and trading it in or selling once you actually secure a C8 Corvette Z06 in hand because this market isn’t slowing down anytime soon and there are more mark ups to come.

The real question is how high is someone willing to spend in getting a C8 Corvette Z06? Say it starts a $90k base and marked up another $20k before options and options put you over $120k depending on the 4 possible C8 Corvette Z06 variants and we are just using a base C8 Z06 as an example will people go up to $120k for the C8 Z06? Only time will tell.

Eventually as the C8 Corvette gets closer to McLaren and Lamborghini prices and with the electric vehicle market ramping up now that the Tesla Plaid is the king of the road performance wise at the 130k range what’s going to be the number people drop off lists, can’t afford the C8 Z06 or start to question whether they should get a C8 Z06 vs some of the other cars that end up being in the same price range?
