They have been advised to tell people we will not see the Corvette C8 Z06 until Late Summer and pricing closer to sale. Summer official starts June 21st and ends September 22nd. So if we are looking at late summer its more likely to be in August 2022 or September 2022 that we will see the new C8 Corvette Z06 produced with pricing available.
Also, they were open to people sharing what dealers are marking up the C8 Corvette Z06 however they also said the dealers are independently owned and can make their own decisions and have the ability to do so.

Also, if you wanted to replace the Carbon fiber Wheel on the Ford GT 500 is $7,000 each in the front and $5,000 for each rear wheel.
Also, carbon fiber has becoming increasingly popular with high performance cars to save weight and more strength with the cars. The carbon fiber wheels on the C8 Corvette Z06 are rated to save 41 lbs.

What it sounds like is the C8 Corvette Z06 will be delayed further especially since there are still supply chain issues and they still haven’t released pricing.
The C8 Corvette demand has not waned and if anything it has become worse since there are people on waiting lists for the C8 z06 with one dealer that have 6000 plus people. Also, with hand built engines and the history of the C8 Z06 not being mass produced as much as the base model Corvette C8 there are going to be a lot of frustrated people.
This launch of the Mid Engine Corvette has been historic and its the most popular corvette every built. Its disappointing there has been a lot of things out of Chevrolet and General Motors hands when it comes to supply chain issues that continue to persist. Not to mention their Bowling Green Kentucky corvette production factory being hit with a tornado, UAW strikes and of course the pandemic we faced the first two years of the production of the C8 Corvette.
However we will have the C8 Corvette Z06 Pricing by the end of March 2022 which has been speculated to start in $87,995 to $92,995 range for the base model C8 Z06 vs the C8 Corvette Z06 Z07 package with the carbon fiber wheels and all of the carbon fiber options.
Chevrolet is ready to build C8 Corvette and they are estimating 40,000 to 44,000 C8 Corvettes to produced in the next year and almost double previous C8 Corvette production and perhaps reduce C8 Corvette build times. Everyone is hoping that at least 20-30% of those built will be allocated to the C8 Corvette Z06 as the top Chevy Dealers have lists of over 6,000 people waiting to order a new C8 Z06.

On March 21st the order guide and MSRP and option pricing will be out in March and most likely on March 21st. And on March 31st the first 2023 C8 Corvette orders can be placed but a very good inside source have said the 2023 C8 Z06 will not be allowed to be entered just the regular 2023 C8 Corvette stingray. No one has seen a CTF captured test fleet with a real VIN number with a 3 month test run or so.
So far no one has been able to spot one of these CTF C8 Z06 cars with no EX at the end of the VIN and this would signal the production coming sooner than later.
We can expect 2023 C8 Corvette Z06s in the July to September range as GM and Chevrolet has said sometime in the later part of the summer.
They are targeting to produce the most Corvettes ever over 44,000 new C8 corvettes a year. And the C8 Corvette stingray ordering is still taking anywhere from 6 months (if you are lucky to find a Chevy dealer with that wait time) to more likely 12-18 months which shows the demand is still high for a C8 Corvette.
He talks about the C8 Z06 pricing being available this month as many people have rumored that it should before the 2023 C8 Corvette ordering system opens up on March 24th. Also, the rumors are production for the 2023 C8 Corvette and Z06 is suppose to be May 9th and start this summer.
However, there has been chatter about many constraints like no Magnetic ride and some options being limited due to all the Supply Chain mess in our country that has been going on for quite some time now. Also, whether or not Carbon Revolution can keep up with the demand for the Carbon Fiber Wheels on the new C8 Z06 as an option that is part of the C8 Z06 Z07 package.

The C8 Corvette Z06 Pricing date is March 23rd, 2022 but might only be the Stingray and order news includes March 24th is set for the preordering in the system and the 70th Anniversary package is not on constraints. And nowhere does it mention C8 Corvette Z06 only the 2023 C8 Corvette Stingray models.
May 9th is the 2023 C8 Corvette productionstart date but it doesn’t say C8 Z06 yet again just says the 2023 C8 Corvette Stingray.
In this video from Brink of Speed on YouTube he shares some information he found on the C8 Forums and at Corvette Action Center where they say Chevy dealers can now configure a 2023 C8 Corvette with options including the C8 Z06.
They can use the GM’s Order Work Bench System and they can see all the options and codes without C8 Corvette Z06 pricing yet.
The 2023 C8 Corvette model year start up cycle starts on May 8th, 2022 and order entry availability for the C8 Corvette Z06 ordering will begin on March 24th 2022.
This means General Motors and Chevrolet should be releasing all of the C8 Z06 Corvette pricing very soon because people won’t enter an order on March 24th if they don’t know all the pricing and the cost of the options of the C8 Corvette Z06 like the carbon fiber wheels and C8 Z07 package.
C8 Corvette Z06 Pricing speculation has been in the $87,995-$92,995 starting range for a base model C8 Corvette Z06.

Based on what he is seeing he is hoping like everyone that General Motors and Chevrolet produce as many C8 Corvette Z06 cars as possible since there are so many people wanting one and on waiting lists. They are also promoting this car all over the place at auto shows, C8 Z06 Dealer tours, Barrett Jackson, social media, news sites, and traditional media advertising it would make sense they will keep up with demand.
Today many C8 Z06 Corvette enthusiasts received an email like we did titled “All-New 2023 Corvette Z06 delivers on performance, precision and design”.
And as you see below from a snippet of featured content in the first paragraph Chevrolet states:
Celebrating our 70th Anniversary in style, The All-New 2023 Corvette 70th Anniversary Z06 Coupe will be available for purchase in early April. Barrett-Jackson auctioned off the first 2023 Corvette to come off the line, a 2023 Corvette Z06 Coupe in Carbon Flash Metallic, VIN #0001, from Chevrolet raising $3.6 million with proceeds to benefit Operation Homefront and its work to support military families.
And since C8 Corvette Z06s aren’t even made yet and have 7000 plus people waiting on Chevy Dealer lists at least at the top two Chevrolet Dealers Ciocca Corvette and Macmulkin when they say “available for purchase early April” means you can start putting in your orders or the dealers can for you.
Also, in the image of this email it says the C8 Corvette Z06 is going to be available in the Summer of 2022. If they stick to this schedule it would line up with C8 Corvette Z06 production we talked about starting May 9th or so and the first C8 Z06s hitting dealer lots between June 21st of 2022 – September 22nd of 2022.
