However, since it’s been a year and we wanted to change it up we just started the process of a new C8 Corvette build that includes the Super Gloss Chalk Grey Inozetek Wrap you see below.
Removed the Soul Performance Straight Pipe Cat back (still have their Sport Cats which we will be keeping on). Their straight pipe cat back is the loudest C8 Corvette exhaust we have heard by far. I changed it out because I drive the C8 Corvette daily (and its too loud for that lol) and the check engine light kept coming on because of the AFM valves which I’m not sure if it was the shop’s fault that installed it or not. There is a way to trick the AFM valves now with this module from Cicio Performance.
As we wrote about back in November, 2020 Procharger is releasing a supercharger for the C8 Corvette that boosts horsepower by 225+ HP in testing.
That’s over 700 Horsepower for the C8 Corvette base model stingray Z51 package and our guess more the C8 Z06 will produce from the factory when General Motors and Chevrolet start production and selling the C8 Z06 in 2022.
If you love the C8 Corvette as much as we do and willing to put out 10-13k for this Procharger Supercharger for the C8 Corvette plus what it costs to install from a local performance shop in your area you can basically get C8 Z06 performance with your current C8 Corvette stingray!

Per the Corvette Museum the most popular build was the coupe and the most popular color of the C8 Corvette was Torch Red. That makes a lot of sense since that was the color of the C8 Corvette Unveil car in July 2019.
Also, although Rapid Blue is a favorite color of most C8 Corvette owners and in the C8 Corvette Forums dealers told people if they ordered a Rapid Blue C8 Corvette it could delay the order even before Covid or UAW strike hit and already delayed everything.

Though production of the 2020 Corvette is expected to continue through early December, with order changes no longer being allowed the team at GM was able to go ahead and release the final stats.
Coupe was the most popular of the two models available with 82.4% of the 20,368 total 2020s produced. As for color line up, Torch Red was the most popular for 2020 with 25% of the cars in that hue. The complete final color line up is as follows:

Carbon Flash Badges were the most popular with 91.6% of the cars. The Z51 package was selected on 76%. 3LT was the most popular package with 46.4%. Front Lift was opted for on 58.4% of the cars while performance exhaust (NPP) is on 89.2%. The GT2 seats were the most popular pick with 61.6%. Painted Carbon Flash Open Spoke Wheels were the most popular with 41.7%, closely followed by the Bright Silver Open Spoke with 36.9%. The National Corvette Museum will have delivered 943 Corvettes for the 2020 model year.

The National Corvette Museum has released a full summary of the final production numbers for the 2020 C8 Corvette.
This summary includes details on the popular colors and options for the 2020 model year. We’ve also received confirmation that the 2020 model year production will end on December 7th. This is great news for anyone waiting on their 2021 C8 Corvette to be built!
Check out this video from Horsepower Obsessed showing the difference in horsepower gained from the Attack Blue Air Filter upgrade on the C8 Corvette. This Attack Blue Air Filet was designed and created by TKO performance that has a history of creating this high performance long lasting air filters even for the C7 Corvettes.
Per the Dyno it gained 12 Horsepower on top of being made in the USA and not having to pay a little less from a Chevy Dealership to use a paper crappy air filter.
Some other mods like Sport Cats or Headers which are in 1000s maybe increased horsepower by 20+ horsepower on the C8 Corvette.
So in this case the Attack Blue Air Filters for the C8 Corvette are definitely worth adding to any C8 Corvette and its easy to install yourself.

While checking out new videos on YouTube on the C8 Corvette I came across this new company called Paragon Performance with a lowering kit, exhaust, and vinyl sticker lights for the C8 Corvette.

Check out this Video from Prince_Whipz870 where he achieves a 2.6 second 0 to 60 (zero to sixty) in the C8 Corvette.
Per his video notes:
I achieved a 2.6 0-60 time in my non Z51, 1LT 2020 Mid Engine C8 Corvette. In this video I will show you how to achieve that time and give a couple of more pulls. This is a base model car and it really is a beast.
C8 Corvette 0-60 times and Quarter Mile
We have been seeing consistent C8 Corvette o to 60 times at about 2.9 seconds. Including when we launched C8CorvetteBlog’s C8 Corvette here on Instagram.
Also, there was another C8 Corvette in Arizona that ran a C8 Corvette 0 to 60 time at 2.5 as well here according the C8 Corvette PDR (performance data recorder) built into the car.
Lastly, the best ALL Motor set up and non Twin Turbo C8 Corvette we have seen via Car_C8 on Instagram ran a 10.55 quarter mile time at 129 MPH.

This way if you want to trailer your C8 Corvette to the drag races, trips, on a vacation or keep the miles of it on a long haul somewhere before you set up and wreck shop driving your C8 on a track or around town at your final destination.
