Vicrez sent him a Carbon Fiber Steering wheel and he still needs to hook up the light for the RPM gauge.

In this video from YouTuber and Former C8 Corvette owner Cars, Costs, and Technology he goes over the new 2022 C8 Corvette options for C8 Corvette carbon fiber parts.
And what you will see is you don’t have to spend that much from the factory and General Motors when there are plenty of carbon fiber part companies and even carbon fiber parts for the C8 Corvette right here on Amazon that make the same parts for a lot less and are extremely high quality.
We speak from experience since our C8 Corvette had a Carbon Fiber Front Splitters from Street Hunter and it’s are second one and Racing Sport Concepts.
An example in this video and from the 2022 C8 Corvette order price list they have a Carbon Fiber High Wing Spoiler for $6495 but you can save OVER $4,600 by buying Racing Sport Concepts High Wing Carbon Fiber Spoiler for $1,895.00
GM also has the Carbon Fiber Ground Effects package (5vM) listed for $4,995 but again you can save another $2,500 and go with Racing Sport Concepts Carbon Fiber Ground Effects and side skirts for the C8 Corvette for only $2,495 in comparison.
GM has a carbon fiber mirror covers option for the C8 Corvette for $1285.00 but again you get them at Racing Sport Concepts for only $895.
They also have an option for adding Carbon Fiber Front Intake Grille Inserts for $2125.00 but you get them from Racing Sport Concepts for $995.00
Their Carbon Fiber Door Engine Side Intake trim for the vents are listed at $3,150.00 (Code RYQ) but you can get these Carbon Fiber parts again from Racing Sport Concepts for $1,495 and save $1,655!
The one option you could use GM and Chevrolet to upgrade that isn’t that bad is the Carbon Fiber cluster-surround and console door switch (Code FA5) since most aftermarket companies aren’t making them and its priced at about $1,500 which seems more reasonable.

Rick Corvette Conti just posted a video after we made this post and talked about some of the same things the other YouTuber and we noticed with the Carbon Fiber parts being overpriced from the factory and Chevrolet.

TJ Hunt got us! We thought he got his C8 Corvette back from Late Model Racecraft but in today’s video you will see he is CHANGING the Engine on his Twin Turbo C8 Corvette to a 1,500 HorsePower set up
He wants to beat Emelia Hartford who currently has the World’s Fastest C8 Corvette in the low 9.3-9.4 range in the quarter mile.
TJ Hunt is also putting custom clutches (not Dodson Clutches) in his C8 Corvette too. Late Model Racecraft mentioned they noticed with the Fuel Tech Twin Turbo C8 Corvette the Dodson clutches reached a limit as well.
TJ Hunt’s C8 Corvette finally get the dual clutches it needs to handle the new 1,500 Horsepower engine. They also upgrade the fuel lines with a crimped fitting to withstand alcohol or meth injection.
As we mentioned in a recent post about Kerbeck Chevrolet selling to Ciocca dealership group they have already redirected the website and changed all the signage to Ciocca Corvette of Atlantic City.
In a recent video with Zipity’s Garage on YouTube the General Manager mentioned everything is the same, sales people are still there, and they are doing their very best to keep up with the Kerbeck Chevrolet traditions of going to Corvettes of Carlisle and local charities.
Zipity’s Garage also filmed the dealership inventory and new Ciocca Corvette signage.
All orders placed with Kerbeck remain in place and unchanged.

We first heard about Ciocca Dealerships Group buying Kerbeck Chevrolet on Matthew Beaver’s Instagram story over the weekend. Matt Beaver works for a competitor Chevrolet dealer in the area Whitmoyer Chevrolet.
This is big news because Kerbeck Chevrolet has been the number one selling corvette dealer in the United States based in Atlantic City, NJ.
The new store will be called Ciocca Corvette of Atlantic City so it looks like they still have a Corvette Sales focus why would they not.
Not sure how this effects any C8 Corvette lists last time we tried to get on their C8 Corvette Z06 list they didn’t even have one or wouldn’t take our name down but 4 other stores have, two of which took a deposit.

Many C8 Corvette News YouTubers are making videos about the C8 Corvette Z06 being delayed until 2023 because of an article GM Authority wrote.
However, Chevrolet and General Motors hasn’t confirmed this news. It does make sense since Chevy is already having a hard time fulfilling the current base model C8 Stingray orders which started with the UAW strike, then Covid, and now part and chip shortages that are effecting the entire car market.

We are currently on 4 lists for the C8 Z06 and already built out our current C8 Corvette Z51 3LT. Recently, sold our NSX and ordered a Tesla Model S Plaid too. So we are done with building our current C8 Corvette and just going to wait on the C8 Z06 which if it does come in 2023 I bet a lot of people drop off the lists that some of these Chevy dealers like Criswell, MacMulkin, and Whitmoyer already created.
I bet Chevrolet or Executive Chief Engineer Tadge Juechter will give an update by the end of August at Corvettes at Carlisle
So if you are a car person not just Corvette or C8 Corvette I’m sure you have seen by now Tesla launch their new Tesla Model S Plaid edition and are putting up low 9 second quarter mile runs as well as under 1.99 0 to 60 numbers too.
Not only are the new Tesla Plaid performance numbers insane from the factory, there is less headaches worrying about transmissions, mods, ect…
And the Tesla Plaid is beating other production cars like the McLaren P1, McLaren Senna, Porsche GT2 RS, and Lamborghini Huracan at the race track at Leguna Seca
When the C8 Corvette came out one of the first things every owner noticed with the mid engine set up how crazy fast the 0 to 60 launch control was for a base model stingray Z51 car in the 2.5-2.9 range we have seen documented online. But the Tesla Plaid 4 door sedan already beat this and every other $1 million plus super or hyper car in production.
As I mentioned this is the base model C8 currently and there have been talks of a C8 Corvette E-Ray with electric or hybrid technology and the C8 Corvette Zora which based on this Tesla Model S Plaid performance our guess is going to be FULL Electric 1000HP+ to compete. But who knows by then since Chevrolet and General Motors are already having a tough time filling the demand and orders for the base model Stingray Z51 C8 Corvette and it looks like even the C8 Z06 is being pushed back until 2023.
That’s still 2 years away and giving Tesla 2 more years with this Plaid technology leads us to believe its going to be a hard time for any manufacturer to catch up.
JaySmizle on YouTube just released an update to the C8 Corvette Service Tech going 100MPH!
Per JaySmizle’s YouTube Video description and in the video he said YouTube is giving him a hard time with “privacy” concerns with his C8 Corvette recording a service technician which a C8 Corvette feature.
This is an update to those who are interested in my situation documented in my previous video I will now be filing a formal complaint with the CA Bureau of Automotive Repair (B.A.R). Im only considering filing criminal charges for CVC 22348 (b)- Driving over 100MPH on a state highway for now because as you all know I have the video evidence!
