In this video by Rick Corvette Conti on YouTube and a Corvette salesperson that works at Coughlin Chevrolet he discusses the latest insider information that dealer received about the new 2023 C8 Z06.
Based on what he is seeing he is hoping like everyone that General Motors and Chevrolet produce as many C8 Corvette Z06 cars as possible since there are so many people wanting one and on waiting lists. They are also promoting this car all over the place at auto shows, C8 Z06 Dealer tours, Barrett Jackson, social media, news sites, and traditional media advertising it would make sense they will keep up with demand.
Today many C8 Z06 Corvette enthusiasts received an email like we did titled “All-New 2023 Corvette Z06 delivers on performance, precision and design”.
And as you see below from a snippet of featured content in the first paragraph Chevrolet states:
Celebrating our 70th Anniversary in style, The All-New 2023 Corvette 70th Anniversary Z06 Coupe will be available for purchase in early April. Barrett-Jackson auctioned off the first 2023 Corvette to come off the line, a 2023 Corvette Z06 Coupe in Carbon Flash Metallic, VIN #0001, from Chevrolet raising $3.6 million with proceeds to benefit Operation Homefront and its work to support military families.
And since C8 Corvette Z06s aren’t even made yet and have 7000 plus people waiting on Chevy Dealer lists at least at the top two Chevrolet Dealers Ciocca Corvette and Macmulkin when they say “available for purchase early April” means you can start putting in your orders or the dealers can for you.
Also, in the image of this email it says the C8 Corvette Z06 is going to be available in the Summer of 2022. If they stick to this schedule it would line up with C8 Corvette Z06 production we talked about starting May 9th or so and the first C8 Z06s hitting dealer lots between June 21st of 2022 – September 22nd of 2022.

In this video by Brink of Speed on YouTube he shares a step by step process of adding a ceramic coating or ceramic coat to your C8 Corvette.
They mostly use all of Chemical Guys products including Carbon Force ceramic coating. They share all of the products, tools, and the step by step guide on how to make your C8 Corvette look extremely clean and protected from dust, dirt, and water spots.
To ceramic coat a C8 Corvette professionally is anywhere from $1-2k but it does save you time and the cost of buying the products. They take about 3-4 hours to apply a ceramic coat on the C8 Corvette in this video. And the chemical guys package for what you need is usually in the $150 to $200 range and the ceramic kit is about $140 for 2-3 C8 Corvettes. If you didn’t own anything you would have to spend about $350 plus your time to get this done.
Step by Step Process for Applying Ceramic Coating to Car
Wash your car and get it cleaned as best as possible.
Then clay bar the car and use a detail spray or waterless wash
Use a LED light to see any imperfections
Use a wipeout or waterless spray again
C4 clear cut polish on the buffer from Chemical guys and their pad conditioner and keep the buffer on the lowest setting
Panel at a time and keep careful with the edges so you don’t burn any paint
Then switch to the Chemical guys P4 and take the same steps with buffing the car on a low speed.
Final step after two coats of paint correction go back and forth 3 times with the ceramic coating application on the applicator or bar they provide.
Take a clean cloth and wipe it off after a few minutes
The C8 Corvette Z06 has started to make it’s rounds at the top Chevy dealers in the country that sell corvettes. This past weekend a Torch Red C8 Z06 and an Accelerate Yellow C8 Z06 with the Z07 package made their appearances at Ciocca Corvette in Atlantic City and MacMulkin Chevrolet in Nashua, NH.
We recently had the chance to see 3 different C8 Z06 at Barrett Jackson since they are also making their way to automotive events and shows as well. However, YouTube has many videos we have below of each of these dealer tour C8 Corvette Z06s.
In these videos from Zipity’s Garage on YouTube he gives a very thorough review of the Ciocca Corvette Dealer Tour. Also, a few other YouTubers were able to capture the new C8 Z06 Corvettes at each dealer as well.
There will be more dealer tours and automotive events like the Washington DC Auto Show, Chicago Auto Show, Barrett Jackson that just happened and the Cleveland auto show where the C8 Z06 was displayed or will be displayed.

In this video Cars and Culture with Jason Stein on YouTube asks the President of General Motors, Mar Reuss about the new C8 Corvette Z06.
He talks about the flat plane crank engine and how the new center exhaust is built like a piece of artwork. He also hints out more platform to ground with this new mid engine Corvette platform that gives them more room to work with vs the front engine generation Corvettes like the C7.
Our guess is they are going to go all wheel drive with electric motors next similar to a hybrid assist set up like an Acura NSX.

The went with Racing Sport Concepts GT Front Carbon Fiber Splitter, GT Carbon Fiber Side Skirts, a OEM GM rear bumper, Paragon Performance Dive planes, OEM side mirror for a wider view, jack point pucks, front grill guards and Paragon Performance track exhaust. They also ordered the Verus rear diffuser to bolt on to the factory skid plate.
They are using APR performance for a rear wing to make it as close as possible to the C8.R Corvette Race Car.

In this video car reviewer EddieX on YouTube shares why he wants to own a C8 Z06. He was in a C8 Z06 with one of the engineers so he had the chance to experience a pre production C8 Z06 and he was hooked.
He has an Audi R8 and it made him wonder if he should trade it in or sell it since he loves the new flat plane crank engine on the new C8 Corvette Z06.
The new C8 Corvette Z06 has more emotion and better exotic sounds with the higher RPMs where it revs up to 9k RPMs.
