C8 Corvette E-Ray Hybrid Spied Testing Together With Z06? (VIDEO)

Check out this video by CarSpyMedia on YouTube where they claim to have video footage of the new C8 Z06 and C8 Corvette ERay testing together at the GM Test Center.

Some people in the comments of the video are saying this is just the base model C8 Corvette Z06 vs. the track inspired C8 Z06 with the Z07 package which included the bigger spoiler or wing. We tend to agree because the reveal is coming out for the new Z06 Corvette and they have shown a photo of one version of it already that looks like one of the Corvettes that are under camo in this video.

We have covered the C8 Corvette E Ray model before but as the C8 Z06 reveal approaches at the end of October there has been a lot more footage, photos, and videos of the new C8 Corvette models that are about to be released.

INSANE Widebody C8 Corvette by RDB LA! Super Wide & Loud!

Check out this video by RDB LA as they widebody a C8 Corvette for a customer. They also added their RDB LA wheels and had to do a bunch of custom body shop work on the widebody kit from Sigala as it didn’t fit that good from the beginning.

We been covering the RDB LA Widebody C8 Corvette since the beginning of June 2021 when they first did a video about the start of the C8 Corvette widebody build project.

Massive labor went into it to get it to fit properly with no issues after paint. We are finally happy with it (still missing the suspension due to supplier backorder) and get to show you this wild ride. Its Sebring Orange and features GOLD RDB Wheels! Model S Plaid vs 1000hp Lamborghini vs 1000hp Corvette C8

Check out this video by the Dobre brothers on their Dobre Cars channel where they have a 1000 horsepower Lamborghini Aventador and a C8 Corvette race a Tesla Model S Plaid.

The C8 Corvette driver Sarah wouldn’t say how much horsepower and although it has a great launch even stock the Tesla Plaid is just a beast for anything in the streets other than the 2.4 million dollar Rimac.

In the video you can see the C8 Corvette has a great launch but dies during the runs. Although it probably is modded with exhaust or bolt ons it doesn’t look like a 1000 horsepower C8 Corvette.

Recently a 1300 horsepower C8 Corvette with Twin Turbos ran low 9s and beat the world record.

C8 Corvette New RPM Tachometer Display, C8 Z06 Hints?

Check out this video from Speed Phenom where he takes delivery of a new 2022 C8.R Edition Corvette that has the sticker package and plaque and he possibly finds a hint to the new C8 Z06 RPM display?

Recently, Rick Corvette Conti said he has seen the engine, interior and some new features too was this what he was hinting at too?

You can see now in the video when in this new Track Display mode it tells you when to shift and goes from Green, Yellow to Red for the shift points.

If you click “numerical” in the tachometer Track mode you can see the RMP gauge giving the exact RPM real time read out. And when you start driving it will show you the shift points. This could be a preview into the new C8 Z06 numerical RPM tachometer display.

Protective Film Solutions Project C8 Corvette

Protective Film Solutions in Orange County California just purchased a C8 Corvette from Whitmoyer Chevrolet for their latest shop project build.

This blog post will be updated as they update their C8 Corvette build series on their YouTube channel to show you what they do with it.

They start off with a full paint correction and clay bar and then add a clear PPF (paint protection film) to their C8 Corvette. Then they added an Xpel XR Plus tint to the driver and passenger windows as well as the front windshield and STEK windshield rock protection film.

Lastly, they added Glanz ceramic coating to the interior, wheels, and exterior of the C8 Corvette. Stay tuned for more videos we will keeping this post updated as they build the C8 Corvette.

Protective Film Solutions C8 Corvette Project

Here’s another update of the Protective Film Solutions C8 Corvette build where they add new tires, aftermarket wheels, and suspension to lower the C8 Corvette and get rid of that ugly wheel gap and stock OEM C8 Corvette wheels.

They went with Paragon Performance Lowering Springs, Michelin Pilot 4S Tires, and Apex Race Parts EC7 Wheels.

They mentioned the next updates should include an exhaust, aero, and carbontastic steering wheel.

Looks like the Protective Film Solutions is adding Racing Sport Concepts Carbon Fiber aero to their C8 Corvette project. In this quick update video you can see the Racing Sport Concepts boxes in their office waiting to be unpacked.

Chevrolet Just Revealed the 2023 C8 Corvette Before the REVEAL???

Chevrolet just revealed the 2023 C8 Corvette Z06 BASE model on Twitter and Instagram and we are seeing mixed messages from potential customers and Corvette fans online.

Most C8 Corvette owners like it but aren’t “wowed” especially the C8 Corvette owners that already have heavily modified their current C8 Corvettes with wheels, exhausts, lowering springs ect…

Also, Chevrolet is really teasing the new C8 Z06 since we all know from the Nurburgring videos of the C8 Z06 that there are going to be variants and a track focused C8 Z06 with a bird like wing with a Z07 package.

It will be interesting to see what happens on October 26th when we get to see every C8 Z06 variant and option including the details of the flat plane crank engine, C8 Z06 convertible, performance numbers, C8 Z06 colors, and possible weight reduction with a magnesium DCT.
